From a young age, I have worked in various functions and different gastronomic establishments in Austria and abroad. I first discovered my enthusiasm for Italian ice cream production and Italian coffee in 1991 at Vizzani’s located in Stuttgart (DE).

Among other things, I worked there in ice cream production. During my time in this Italian family business, I learned that a variety of factors have an impact on the quality of the end product.

Especially when making gelato, in addition to the quality and fat content of the dairy products, the degree of ripeness/quality of the fruits and other flavoring ingredients such as: Nuts, and don't forget the method of preparation.  

 

However, what makes a significant difference is the person who loves the craft and gives the ingredients their time in order to achieve the best tasting result and a consistency that is pleasing to the palate. Classic ice cream production takes place in many steps and requires several maturation phases. In order to obtain a high-quality product, most varieties are usually prepared the evening before they are churned in the ice cream maker. Therefore, handcrafted ice cream is a slow-food product.

 

With the opening of my first ice cream parlor in Vienna Liesing in 2010, I realized my dream of owning my own ice cream production. Together with my dedicated team, we delighted our customers every day with our hospitality. I continue to cultivate my passion and fascination for ice cream and coffee by attending training courses and international trade fairs and by regularly communicating with my colleagues. Together with my dedicated team, we look forward to sharing our passion for high-quality food and our hospitality with our customers every day.
